A classy spot for those in the 20- 30+ crowd, this hotel which has a definite tropical vibe going, and is definitely a contender. Props go out for the best swimming pools in town, including a three story complex one, the Mixx Lounge which has been rated as No. 1 for Appeal by Las Vegas Nightlife Survey, huge rooms, a great spa and a variety of food from Michael Mina's StripSteak to Rick Moonen's RM Seafood. And for an even greater experience you can mosey on down to the separate THEhotel tower suites which feature wet bars, stylish lobby areas and flat screen TVs.

    Hotel room was extremely clean. Very quiet in hallways. Good pool area - found some seatings around mid-day in a smaller pool.

    I booked a spa suite, but was given a standard. They claimed they did not show my booking for that particular room. Also, I'm sure everything in Vegas is overpriced, but the costs for internet, room service, etc are very high. No "budget" options available.

    I just wish all hotels based themselves on this Excellent hotel. With its own man made beach with a wave machine. The rooms were beautiful spotlessly clean. Loads of things to do. The staff were very helpful I would go back tomorrow

    Nice entering the hotel through a lobby not the casino. Liked the rooms very much and the beach was great

    I thought there needed to be greater diversity in the resturants. There was no where to get an evening light lunch or a quick bite.

    The staff at the Mandalay Bay was exceptional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and like royalty. The pool/beach was fun for the children.

    Good location on the strip. the hotel has everything you will ever need. Great place!

    We had a spa suite on the 17th floor. Noise from next door woke us all up really early as there is a lockable door to link both rooms. If you book a spa suite make sure you ask for one without a joining room.

    Could tell the room has had some use - uncleaned watermarks on nightstand, some bad grout in shower and paneling on mini-bar was coming off. Also had some troubles with Internet access.

    Love the resort. Not in the middle of all the traffic mess, but close to everything. Elegant, relaxing, best pools.

    There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Our stay was wonderful and we will be back. This has been our hotel of choice for several years.

    Great selection of restaurants, excellent food, large room. Nice and big pool.

    Many things are charged extra (E.G. through "resort fee", pool chairs etc.) at sometimes very high price! Missing some basic features in the room (E.G. no coffee making facilities, no fridge that can be used). Window was very small and badly located so the room was quite dark. Electronically wired fridge, so don't touch anything (however I think it did not work). Pool very crowded.

    Very busy. Long queues at check-in/check-out. Not much space by the pool. Food/drinks within hotel was expensive. Admission to aquarium should be discounted for those staying in hotel.
